Brian is a principal and senior structural engineer at Tomecek Roney Little & Associates Ltd. and has extensive experience in the design of a diverse range of commercial, high-rise, recreational, residential, institutional and light industrial buildings over the past 31 years as a practicing engineer registered in the provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario. Brian has also developed skills in the evaluation, remediation and upgrading of existing structures, including facility re-development, expansion, restoration, seismic strengthening, and building envelope studies. Brian’s diverse design background and practical construction experience allows for the development of creative structural systems solutions which best suite each project in terms of performance, cost effectiveness, schedule, and constructibility.

Bryan is a Principal and Senior Project Manager for Tomecek Roney Little & Associates Ltd. with over 30 years of experience in the building construction industry. Bryan has a comprehensive understanding of the use of modern construction materials and structural systems for commercial, light industrial and residential building projects of all sizes. Bryan has applied this background along with his knowledge of cost effective design solutions to structural projects across Western Canada. He has extensive project management, construction document production, coordination capabilities and is responsible for project deliverables. He provides project management services to clients, sub-consultants and contractors and leads the business development team for TRL & Associates Ltd.
Ken is a principal and senior structural engineer at Tomecek Roney Little & Associates Ltd. and has over 30 years of diverse experience within the consulting engineering field. He provides a strong technical skill set developed from a blended background of large industrial, commercial, recreational and entertainment complexes, and institutional projects, and is a registered professional engineer in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Ken also brings an extensive building sciences background in having been responsible for the evaluation, analysis, and retrofit of several office buildings, pools and museums. Ken’s technical abilities, constructability savvy and aptitude for thoroughness completes the management team.
Jason is a partner and senior structural engineer at Tomecek Roney Little & Associates Ltd. with over 15 years of experience in consulting engineering. Jason provides a strong technical background with a Design Drafting Technologies Diploma and a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Civil Engineering. As a practicing engineering registered in the provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan, he has gained diverse experience in wood, steel and concrete building system design, and a strong acumen for building evaluation, remediation, upgrading and additions to existing structures. Jason also brings extensive construction experience which mitigates many issues on-site with constructible designed solutions. Jason’s technical background and design experience results in an effective structural solution in terms of performance, cost, schedule and constructability.
