Tomecek Roney Little & Associates Ltd. was founded in response to the industry’s call for a stand-alone, service oriented Structural Engineering Firm. TRL is focused on providing quality, innovative, cost-effective and constructible design solutions to both the private and public sectors. Our staff is talented, energetic, and passionate about structures. We design and detail all our projects with a corporate philosophy that encourages a “client first” concept along with a total team approach in delivery of the project from inception through construction.

Leadership Team – TRL is led by four partners who bring together more than 110 years of diverse structural design and project management experience across all building types and industry sectors resulting in a strong cohesive approach in the delivery of engineering services.

Technical Staff – We maintain a core group of staff consisting of experienced professional and technical personnel who pride themselves in consistently meeting and exceeding our clients’ expectations. Using the latest technologies, we develop practical solutions that meet our internal mandate to provide cost efficient structural design for our projects. We pride ourselves in the attention paid to details and issues that provide our clients the ability to achieve solutions without functional limitations. We understand and respect the word “deadline”, and have made great strides in the industry by honoring the commitment made to deliver our designs. Fast track design has become a standard for structural consulting and we believe we are industry leaders in this approach.

Solution based – TRL believes that the buildings industry today is no longer willing to accept old school methodologies that often translate into higher project costs. Our goal at TRL is to provide solutions and a level of service that sets us apart within the industry. With the client involved throughout every step of the design process, we work on incorporating the preferred solution into the project while satisfying the aesthetic needs of the Architecture, and user requirements.
